Breaking good, the preparation.

After the consultation with the oncologist, a nurse explained the procedure which will be repeated during the 12 chemo sessions, as well as the preparation beforehand.

Mainly, a porta-cath will be installed under the skin, a reservoir for the chemo drug, inserted through a surgical procedure with a flexible and inert catheter that goes through a vein right above the heart! I looks like that under X-ray:
